Pony Tail of the Day

So what is that crazy hairdo you ask? It's the pony tail of the day. I'm donating my hair to Locks for Love , and with never having long hair before I need some way to keep it out of my eyes to see! I haven't resulted to the pony tail at the office yet (for obvious professional image reasons). If you aren't familiar with Locks for Love, it is a non-profit organization that makes hair pieces for children who have cancer. The minimum needed to donate is 10 inches. I'm currently around the 5 inch mark and that is after 8 months of no haircuts (my hairdresser must think I'm dead :-) ).
I started doing this after my Uncle passed away in February and had a moment of self realization: We get one shot at this thing called life and it is up to us to make the best of it. Why not grow your hair like a rockstar AND more importantly help those that are the most in need. Giving makes the world go 'round...
